Landmarks

The Anaconda (Green Anaconda)

Habitat: Amphibious; favours still or slow flowing waters. Marshes; swamps.
Diet: Carnivorous. Fish, amphibians, other snakes, birds, small mammals. NOT humans!
Classification and relatives: The green anaconda is a non-venomous snake that crushes its prey - it is related to the boa constrictor.
Conservation status: Unknown. Investigation current.
Lifespan: 15-20 years
